To my neighbors and friends of Cape Coral:

I’ve always called Cape Coral home. I grew up here, and I’ve seen our city change in ways both exciting and challenging. Through it all, one thing has never changed for me, the belief that when neighbors look out for one another, we can build something better than any of us could alone.

The moment that pushed me to step forward wasn’t dramatic, but it stayed with me. I watched as a council decision was made, quickly, without debate, without conversation, and without the community’s voice. For me, it wasn’t about politics. It was about people being left out of the process. That moment reminded me why integrity, courage, and loyalty matter so deeply in leadership. If we stop listening to one another, we lose the very heart of what makes Cape Coral strong.

I’ve never been someone to stand on the sidelines. Whether it was helping a neighbor, showing up for a community project, or lending my voice when others stayed quiet, I’ve always believed in stepping up when needed. It’s in those small moments, when one person feels seen, heard, or cared for, that the real spirit of Cape Coral shines.

That spirit is what guides me now. I believe leadership should be both professional and personal, thoughtful and compassionate. It’s not enough to lead with the mind alone; we also need leaders who lead with the heart. My vision is simple: a Cape Coral where leadership means listening first, where we work together instead of against each other, and where every resident feels they have a voice in shaping our future.

This journey isn’t about me alone, it’s about us. About what we can build when we come together with integrity, courage, and care for our neighbors. I believe Cape Coral can redefine what leadership looks like. And I believe it starts with all of us, working side by side, to create a city we’re proud to call not just home, but paradise!
